Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for days, 3x12s in Salina, KS. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with ASAP start and holidays coverage. Requires KS RN license, BLS, ACLS, and EPIC EMR experience. Provides professional nursing care using standard nursing process and patient education where needed.

The role includes completing care plans, performing nursing procedures, de-escalation when needed, and adherence to nurse practice acts. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred as additional education.
• Current Kansas RN license and BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing database and care plan with concise information and reports findings to physician.
• Performs nursing procedures safely and efficiently with skill.
• Defuses anxious or potentially violent behavior when needed.
• Identifies patient learning needs and provides education.
• Demonstrates appropriate delegation and follows nurse practice act.
