Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care across the PACU unit. You will perform assessments, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure safe, quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating care, educating patients and families, and contributing to unit goals and performance improvement. State PA RN licensure and BLS are required, with a focus on teamwork and compassion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Ability to organize and prioritize patient care.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for designated patients.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment course.
• Support unit and hospital goals and participate in performance improvement.
• Utilize technology to optimize delivery of care.
