Job summary

CentraCare Monticello Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU to support patient recovery after surgery and promote quality of care in collaboration with the Surgical Services team.

This part-time role offers 56 hours every two weeks, Monday–Friday with variable start and end times, and rotating on-call shifts with 30-minute response time. Compensation is experience- and degree-based with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing or higher.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Current Minnesota RN License Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current BLS certification Required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ACLS certified for “on call” purposes only.
  • Previous Surgical Services experience preferred.
  • Respond onsite within 30 minutes when on call.
  • Must possess demonstrated communication skills, read and communicate in English.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with interpersonal relations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, organizational, problem solving.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently as needed.

  • Collaborate with Surgical Services team to promote continuity and quality of care.
  • Contribute to staff education and advancement of clinical practices.
