McLaren Health Care is a major healthcare system in Michigan with a wide network of hospitals, cancer centers, and physician groups. The RN in this role delivers nursing care within the unit, following hospital policies and standards of care, and participates in teaching the patient and family.

The position emphasizes assessment, care planning, and coordination with ancillary staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in a specialty area preferred; unit competency may be required.
• ACLS required within six months for RNs in Critical Care, Emergency, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, ICU and Step-Down.
• NRP required for RNs in Labor and Delivery; PALS required for RNs in Pediatrics; PALS and TNCC within one year for the Emergency Department.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS preferred in other units.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents and evaluates response to plan of care, and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
