Job summary

Landmark Surgery Center is seeking a qualified Full-Time PACU Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery team. The RN will provide pre-operative and post-operative care in our recovery area, monitoring patients and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient care.

Qualified candidates will have graduation from an accredited RN program, active state RN license, and at least one year in critical care or surgical settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• A minimum of one year of experience in critical care required; surgical setting experience and cardiac monitoring strongly desired.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care in ambulatory surgery center.
• Monitor cardiac status and vital signs.
• Assist in recovery room and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient operations.
