Elliot Health System is seeking a PACU RN to care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures in a fast-paced setting. You will monitor vital signs, manage pain relief, administer IV fluids, and educate families on recovery progress.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent, NH RN or compact license, and BLS with ACLS preferred. Full-time (30 hours weekly) daytime shifts are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• NH Registered Nurse license or Compact state RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor vital signs and assessments to ensure optimal postoperative care.
• Provide comfort measures for recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications, pain relief, and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Educate patients on recovery progress and answer questions.
• Assist discharge planning for a smooth home transition.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Document postoperative care in medical records.
