Job summary

Tufts Medical Center, a renowned academic medical center and the principal teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, is seeking a Professional RN for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role requires a current RN license, BLS, and possible ACLS/PALS certifications, with BSN preferred.

The RN will provide patient/family-centered care, advocate for patients, and collaborate across disciplines to improve outcomes. Hours: 36 Hours per Week with Day/Night Rotating Shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certifications such as ACLS and/or PALS may be required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate care.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate with the care team.
• Communicate and coordinate the patient’s discharge plan to ensure a seamless transition.
