Job summary
Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU - Post Anesthesia Care to join our night-shift team. This ongoing staff position requires 12-hour nights and a commitment to high-quality postoperative care.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU, Critical Care, or PACU experience.
- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program and California RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications either current or achievable within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs for continuous assessment in the PACU.
- Document and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing actions and ensure a safe environment of care.
- Work alongside other departments to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide post-surgical education to patients, creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment.
- Monitor patients for changes in status and institute appropriate interventions.
