Job summary

Saint Francis Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse I for the Recovery/PACU unit. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care per hospital standards to monitor patient status and progress toward goals.

Minimum education includes completion of basic professional curricula for nursing and an active RN license. At least two years in PACU or related critical care is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills to support patient care and discharge

Qualifications

• Minimum nursing education completed and verified by state board.
• Valid RN license required for practice.
• Ability to work in PACU with critical care awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Document steps of the nursing process and communicate clearly with care teams.
• Coordinate with disciplines to ensure timely discharge planning.
• Support unit goals through education and quality improvement activities.
