Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or equivalent.
• State NM nursing license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ICU or Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process during a shift.
• Prioritize delivery of direct nursing care with efficient use of time and resources.
• Oversee delivery of patient care and delegate tasks to home health aides and nursing staff based on needs.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and community resources.
• Ensure patient rights, informed consent, and education needs are addressed.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and support the nursing team.
