Oversees staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage to maintain PACT’s 24/7 clinical support. Is responsible for outreach and recruitment in the community and development of strong connections to referral sources; leads the screening process for referrals, ultimately determining whether clients meet admission criteria for the program. Leads staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and performance reviews. Provides direct services to clients and/or natural supports, approximately 8 hours a week. When serving in the role of "primary clinician", takes the lead on pulling together the Integrated Assessment, team case conceptualization, and treatment planning. Connects natural supports with resources, such as the local NAMI chapter. Provides services to clients in the community and facilities (e.g., jail, E&T, ED). Services include the use of empirically based psychotherapies, case management, and psychiatric rehabilitation. May also lead comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and crisis planning for clients for whom they are the primary clinician. Maintains a working knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and can access and coordinate with appropriate crisis intervention resources in the community, especially if hospitalization is required. Provides cross training on empirically supported psychotherapies and models these skills for other team members. Must be amenable to municipal travel for community visits and outreach and be able to work non-conforming hours to meet with clients/provide services.
