Job summary

Compass Health is seeking a Peer Counselor to join our PACT team in Everett. This role focuses on supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges through recovery-oriented services in community and home settings.

The position requires a Washington State Peer Counselor Credential, lived experience, and a valid driver’s license. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to personalized care plans within a non-profit organization that values growth and work-life

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Washington State Peer Counselor Credential is required.
• Personal lived experience with a behavioral health diagnosis is required.
• Valid WA Driver's License, vehicle, and insurance if applicable.
• Must obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor status through WA DOH upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to promote recovery, stabilization, and wellness.
• Assist clients in developing natural supports, self-advocacy, and life skills.
• Work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to support client care plans.

About the PACT Model

PACT is an evidence‑based, team-delivered treatment approach designed for adults with severe and persistent behavioral health disorders. Services are primarily provided in the community, often several times per week, helping individuals achieve independence, avoid hospitalization, and thrive in daily life.
