Job summary

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Primary Care / PACT Registered Nurse for a local contract at the Miami VA Medical Center in Miami, Florida. The RN will provide comprehensive outpatient nursing care, patient education, chronic disease management, and care coordination for Veterans in a multidisciplinary primary care setting. Schedule: Day Shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours).

Start: August 9, 2026. End: May 11, 2027.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in any US state.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• 4+ years of nursing experience, incl. 2+ years inpatient care coordination and 2+ years outpatient care.
• Experience with chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and determine patient needs.
• Coordinate patient care across primary care and specialty services.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Assist physicians and other providers with outpatient procedures and interventions.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with VA policies.
