Supports the business in identifying and implementing optimal technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work plans for system upgrades and enhancements; configure and maintain technical environments.
- Evaluate workflows to assess feasibility and resolve operational issues.
- Develop clear specifications and documentation.
- Plan and execute comprehensive test scenarios.
- Assist in establishing technology standards.
- Support resource estimation and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate variances to management promptly.
- Manage vendor relationships to meet service level expectations.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to small collaborative groups.
- Manage small projects and support configuration across development, staging, and production environments.
- Assess feasibility of small to medium project requests and resolve operational issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of application, implementation, and support experience.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in Information Services or a combination of Information Services and direct Health Care experience; or large-scale implementation/upgrade experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field.
- 3 years of direct application development experience with current software versions.
- 10 years of progressive experience in Information Services or combined information services and direct health‑care experience.
- Experience in Information Technology and/or Healthcare Operations.
- Experience in application planning, development, and implementation.
- Strong technical collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with on‑call/DR/BC triaging.
- General technical knowledge to perform client‑server administration and networking functions.
- Project resource and budget management experience.
Physical Demands
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting and standing; frequent keyboard use.
- May require kneeling, bending, squatting, and performing CPR for patient care roles.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $66,408.51 – $94,632.61 annually. The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
