Job summary

Menasha Corporation in the United States seeks an operator for the Packsize machine. You will set up orders, convert corrugate to boxes, fold and glue, and palletize for the warehouse.

You will read pick orders, move materials, assemble customer orders, tag items, and record quantities. The role may involve using a computer and requires safety awareness and teamwork to meet production goals.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This operator performs all duties related to the Packsize machine: setting up orders, converting corrugate to boxes, finishing the product by folding and glueing, and palletizing for the warehouse.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reads pick order/list to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from warehouse storage areas to designated dock, warehouse storage, etc. areas by hand, hand-truck, cart, etc.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to station, dock, staging area, etc.
• Tags materials with identifying information.
• Records amounts of materials or items distributed or received.
• May compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• May use computer to enter records.
