Schlafly is seeking a Packaging Operator to run bottle and packaging machinery for consumer products. You will need good time management, decision making and problem solving skills and represent Schlafly in a positive manner at all times.

Key duties include monitoring machine operations for quality, operating packaging line equipment, inspecting containers, stopping or resetting machines when needed, reporting malfunctions, stocking supplies, loading materials, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Operate machinery used in the packaging line process.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as boxes, cartons, or labels.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors.
• Maintain and follow safety standards and guidelines.
• Attend activities and festivals featuring Schlafly products during non-production hours as needed.

Description

Summary: This position is responsible for the operation of machinery to bottle and package consumer products for shipment. This person will need to possess good time management, decision making and problem solving skills and represent The Saint Louis Brewery in a positive manner at all times.

Flow of work and duties require normal mental and visual attention; visual requirements include depth perception, color vision, and clarity of vision for distant (20 feet or more) and near (less than 20 inches) work.

Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of the job.

Manufacturing environment where exposure to moisture, heat, electrical current, refrigerated areas, noise and moving machinery are frequent during the day.

Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or GED certification

Experience:

0-1 year related experience
