Job summary

Pero Family Farms in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Packing House. You will load/unload materials, move goods around the facility, and support packing and palletizing operations. This is a full-time, onsite role reporting to the Packing House Manager.

Qualifications include 0-3 years general work experience, forklift certification preferred, and strong safety and teamwork skills. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical tasks

Qualifications

• 0-3 years general work experience required.
• 1+ year Warehouse/Forklift experience preferred.
• OSHA forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in high-speed industrial environments a plus.
• Ability to operate manual and powered pallet jacks and lifting equipment.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Good knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Very good physical condition.
• Excellent coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload materials.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and production supplies.
• Move goods to designated spaces and transport around facility.
• Inspect loads to ensure secure handling and storage.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with packing and palletizing as needed.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and quality standards.
