Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine unit or piece to be packed and crated.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Mark and label containers or products with appropriate tags.
• Place products into containers using hand tools and equipment.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons and crates.
