Job summary

Connect Art International is seeking a Packing & Crating Technician to handle art objects with care and prepare them for shipment. Responsibilities include using basic carpentry tools, operating a table saw and chop saw, and maintaining safety and accuracy in packing processes.

The ideal candidate will have art handling experience or similar sensitive object handling, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with woodworking and basic carpentry including table saw/chop saw.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Willingness to be flexible in a team environment.
• Hybrid position may be required with field art handling.

Job description

Connect Art International is in search of Packing & Crating Technician.

Candidate must have prior art handling experience, or similar sensitive object handling. Experience with woodworking and basic carpentry, including table saw, chop saw, nail & staple guns and all basic hand tools.

Candidates must have a high attention to detail, the ability to work independently and clear communication skills. The ability to do shop math/basic algebra a must.

The ability to lift 75 lbs is required. Forklift and truck driving experience highly preferred along with the willingness to be flexible in a team environment. This position may be a hybrid position at times and may require art handling skills in the field.
