H2ajobs is seeking workers to participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and storage of crops. You will grade and sort products by color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage.

You will operate grain conditioning equipment to meet quality standards, monitor moisture and grades, load semis with hopper, repair equipment as needed, and follow safety protocols. English language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 2 months of experience required for the listed job duties.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must obtain a driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Random drug testing may be required after hire.

Description du poste

Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and storage of crops, Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage. Operate and monitor grain conditioning equipment to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards. Place products in containers according to grade. Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel. Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Guide products to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products. monitor and report grain moisture and grades. Maintain a tidy and organized work environment, including cleaning conditioning equipment, storage areas, and surrounding facilities. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Load semi with hopper without over or underfilling and deliver grain to terminals. Operate fans and other equipment to condition grain and control moisture levels. Repair equipment which may include but not be limited to replacing bearings, belts, drivelines, u-joints, seals, gears, chains and other parts as needed. Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 2 months

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
