Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a dedicated Packer to join our production team at the High Street facility. You will inspect and pack products into boxes and cartons, operate packing equipment, and keep your station clean and efficient.

Responsibilities include quality checks, scanning finished goods into inventory, setting up packing mats, and supporting sanitation duties. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate in English or Spanish.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to fluently communicate in and read English or Spanish.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time.
• Requires knowledge of product quality and production processes.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, pivot regularly.
• Able to be trained as backup lineperson and packer.
• Able to be trained to use a hand jack.

• Understands how to operate the Shrink Wrapper.
• Helps clean floor and equipment in packing room weekly and perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

As a Packer, this candidate will be responsible for inspecting and packing quality products into boxes, cartons, cans, and specialty containers in a team atmosphere while responsible for their individual station.
