Do you love cookies and the smell of fresh baked goods? If so our client, a manufacturer of sweet goodies, is looking for a Packers for their facility located in Orange County.
Pay: $17.50 per hr. Shift: 9:00pm - 5:30am. Location: Sana Ana. Duration: Temp-Hire.

Description

• Monitors quality of product prior to clamshell/case packaging.
• Ensures proper closure of clamshells prior to being packed into cases.
• Reports any product anomalies or issues, to Lead.
• Removes product from line that is out of specification.
• Monitors packaging equipment making sure it is running properly and at accurate speeds. Reports line operating issues to Lead/Supervisor for immediate repair.
• Discards scrap product properly by separating clam shells/trays from finished product into appropriate trash bins.
• Assists with all packaging re-work.
• Maintains cleanliness in work area.
• Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.

Requirements for the Packaging Position:

• Must adhere to GMP's
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Previous packaging experience
• Must be able to work 7 days a week with a rotating schedule and 1-2 days off
