Job summary

Imagineering Finishing Technologies in Niles, MI is hiring for a full-time packer/inspector. You will visually inspect, wrap, and package parts to meet customer specs, count and verify orders, and maintain a clean work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and good verbal/written communication skills. Compensation is $16.00–$18.00 per hour with benefits and a strong safety culture.

Summary

Visually inspects, wraps, and package parts. Works with other packers in daily activities to meet production needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack and unpack parts to customer specification
• Inspect parts for nicks, dings, blisters, & color distortion
• Count and verify production orders
• Efficiently wrap and package parts
• Responsible for checking quality of work to ensure it meets the customer’s expectations
• Responsible for a clean working area
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to visually inspect each part for quality and consistency
• Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
