Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Michigan is seeking an entry-level production worker responsible for inspecting pre-cooked products, packing to line standards, and stacking finished cases onto pallets in a chilly plant environment.
You will lift and move cases up to 50 pounds, monitor packaging for damage, perform routine sanitation, apply correct labels, and communicate issues to leadership citing GMP and safety practices. High school diploma preferred.
This entry-level position involves the inspection of pre-cooked or post-cooked food products entering or exiting the cooker, monitoring frozen products in the pack-off area, and stacking finished product cases onto specified pallets.

Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. May be required to wear bump caps, safety glasses, hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’S, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.
