TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Huntley, IL is hiring for a Packer/Inspector I on 2nd shift. The role focuses on inspecting thermoformed sheets, removing non-conforming parts, and packaging finished goods.

Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142) **Shift:** 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM **Schedule:** Monday - Thursday **Pay Rate:** $19.32/Hour plus $1.25 Shift Differential **Summary Description**The Weekend Packer / Inspector is responsible for inspecting and packaging thermoformed product to ensure finished goods meet customer specifications and quality requirements while maintaining safe and efficient production flow. **What You’ll Be Doing*** Remove completed thermoformed sheets from machines* Visually inspect thermoformed sheets for defects* Remove and segregate non-conforming product according to inspection control plans* Report non-conforming parts to the machine operator* Assemble cardboard cartons* Remove individual parts and stack according to job specifications* Load parts into cartons and seal cartons* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area* Perform additional duties as assigned* Keep accurate part counts* Ensure parts are neatly stacked* Make new boxes as needed* Read and understand specification sheets* Participate in continuous improvement efforts **We’d Love to Hear From You If*** You are self-motivated and willing to learn* You maintain strong attendance and reliability* You have excellent attention to detail* You work well with inspectors and operators* You can continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk* You have good vision* You communicate clearly in written and verbal form* You have strong manual dexterity and agility **Physical and Visual Demands*** Standing, walking, bending, and reaching* Pushing and pulling* Reading, writing, and verbal communication* Carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds **Experience Preferred*** 6 months previous production line experience preferred* High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
