Associated Materials Innovations is hiring a Packer to safely package finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Texas. You will prepare packaging materials, inspect product quality, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting production start-ups and changeovers.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety procedures, 5S standards, and teamwork to meet production goals. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long shifts, and overtime flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Basic math including fractions is required.
• Ability to read work instructions and product specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely operate a hand saw.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into cartons and prepare boxes for shipment.
• Erect, label, tape, and palletize cartons per specifications.
• Assist production during machine start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Conduct scheduled quality inspections to ensure conformance.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Operate a hand saw as part of normal duties.
• Assist with scrap removal around machinery and wet areas.
• Report defects or safety issues to supervisor promptly.
• Complete box counts and production records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per 5S standards.
• Follow all PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Contribute to meeting production goals by maintaining efficiency and minimizing waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
