Job description

Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme’s focus has remained the same—making fresh doughnuts using our founder’s original recipe. The brand’s iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line.

We create sweet treats in our Doughnut Factories and shops that we send into the world to inspire customer wonder on grocery shelves and in our "fresh shops." In this role, you will ensure the doughnuts that you pack up are fresh and meet our strict quality standards, and you’ll make the process of loading doughnut trucks smooth and easy so our delivery drivers can get back on the road. Enthusiasm and lots of energy help make this role fun and vital to our teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspire customer wonder by packing up our sweet treats and staging them in boxes and racks to be ready for delivery.
• Keep everything in the loading area clean and organized, and check for any quality issues and let your leaders know if you find anything concerning.
• Organize the doughnuts for the drivers according to their route orders and keep track of what’s being delivered and to which customers.
• At times, train in how to make and decorate the doughnuts, and help when your leader requests it in other areas.

Physical Demands

• Prefer a role that involves continuous movement while packing and loading doughnuts.
• Lift 25 to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Use cleaning equipment such as mops and brooms.
• Move around, read produce boxes, and use measuring devices in a warm, potentially noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with basic reading and math skills.
• Good at managing time, enthusiastic, and a team player.
