Job summary

Wieland, a global copper and alloy manufacturer, is hiring a Packer for Alliance, OH. This on-site, 2nd shift role involves pulling stock for orders, packing material to customer specs, and completing shipping paperwork.

Starting pay is $22.22 per hour with weekly pay; benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock for orders and locate incoming material into inventory.
• Finish packing material for shipment.
• Complete paperwork on weights and units.
• Weigh material and pack to customer specifications.
• Complete all paperwork.
• Compare shipping paperwork with actual material skids and load on truck.
• All other assigned duties.

Wieland is hiring a Packer. The Packer will be responsible for pulling stock for orders and to locate incoming material into the inventory area.This role is located in Alliance, OH and will be fully on-site.

Schedule: 2nd shift

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

Packer Responsibilities:

• Band or box skids
• Finish packing material for shipment
• Complete paperwork on weights and units
• Pull material from inventory
• Weigh material and pack to customer specifications
• Complete all paperwork
• Compare shipping paperwork with actual material skids and load on truck
• All other assigned duties

Packer Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Minimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred
