Job summary

Erincondren in Austin, TX is seeking a Production Worker: Converting & Sheet Packer to join our manufacturing team. You will handle packaging of materials, perform hand assembly, and operate sheet/converting equipment while helping maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts available: 1st 06:00–14:30 and 2nd 14:30–23:00, with medical, dental and vision coverage, paid holidays, generous PTO, and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Packaging of materials in boxes through a heat shrink tunnel or manually for full width or slit rolls.
• Hand assembly of packaging materials.
• Assist in operation of equipment: sheeting, cutting, pouching, and other packaging equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and process cleanliness.
• Work with others in a team to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Interface with computer systems: Email, Word & Excel.

Production Worker: Converting & Sheet Packer

Full Time Austin, TX, US

Salary Range: $14.00 To $15.00 Hourly

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to type. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to see up close, ability to adjust focus and keen eye for detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Packaging of materials in boxes form through a heat shrink tunnel or manually for full width or slit rolls.
• Hand assembly of packaging materials.
• Assist in operation of one or more of the following pieces of equipment: sheeting equipment, cutting equipment, pouching, and other packaging equipment.
• Maintain appropriate housekeeping and process cleanliness.
• Work closely with others in a team environment to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Interface with existing computer systems: Email, PC applications (Word & Excel).
• Physical and / or mechanical movement of materials manually and with pallet jacks and fork trucks

Experience & Qualifications

Required

• Must be able to tolerate working in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to tolerate working in an environment with a moderate or loud level of noise.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be able to work flexible hours depending on business demands.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50+lbs. on a consistent basis

Education

Must have a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED).

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel and/or crouch
• Capable to lift or move 50 +lbsthrough outshift
• Occasionally required to climb or balance
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects,toolsor controls: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• 1st Shift: 06am to 2:30pm
