Job summary

Manpower Group is assisting a medical manufacturing client in Salt Lake City, UT to hire a Packer. You will inspect, weigh, and package medical molded plastic components, document production records, and help with inventory on a 12-hour rotating shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Prior manufacturing or packaging experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and understand procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, weigh, and package medical molded plastic components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Sort out defective products and document production records accurately.
• Use hand tools, fixtures, and equipment to manually assemble small parts.
• Perform visual inspections using magnification tools to verify product quality.
• Label finished products and manage inventory as required.

Pay Rate: 19.26/h

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift, 6:30PM - 6:30AM
