Job summary

Novolex in Lancaster, TX is seeking a motivated Packer to join our fast-paced industrial manufacturing team. You will package products into boxes, inspect for defects, and prepare shipments while following standard safety guidelines and maintaining clean working stations.

Job Description

Do you have experience working in Manufacturing, Packing Products off Conveyor lines, Mechanical Aptitude, Working with Plastic molding??? If so, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!

Packer - Industrial Manufacturing - Lancaster, TX

Packer Compensation:

• Starting rate $16 an hour+ shift differential for nights - paid bi-weekly

Packer available night shifts: Days and Nights

Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast-paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
• Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues
• Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)
• Keep station clean at all times
• Follow safety guidelines at all times

Education and/or Experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Ability to work with others effectively as part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Physical Demand/Effort:

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
