Job summary

24 Carrots LLC is seeking a Packer in Costa Mesa, CA to prepare goods for delivery, read banquet orders, and ensure items are packed to specifications. You will help maintain organization and quality control in the warehouse while supporting timely delivery for social events.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift load requirements, and collaboration with the Operations team. California Food Handler Card and ServSafe certification within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows banquet event orders and packing specifications.
• Inventory service ware, glassware, flatware, and china accurately.
• Maintains quality control and ensures items are clean and not broken.
• Understands how to safely strap and pack items and load a truck.

The Packer is responsible for preparing goods for delivery by placing items in the correct containers and inspecting materials and products to ensure packing specifications are met. This role supports the safe, accurate, and timely preparation of social events while maintaining organization and quality control in the warehouse.

The Packer inventories service ware, glassware, flatware, and china; reads and follows banquet event orders; safely straps and loads items; and helps keep warehouse equipment clean and in good repair. This position works closely with the Operations team to ensure event items are clean, undamaged, organized, and ready for successful delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

• Up to one month of related experience or training
• Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay on task and work effectively
• Ability to read and understand banquet event orders and packing specifications
• Ability to inventory service ware, glassware, flatware, and china accurately
• Strong attention to quality control, including ensuring items are clean and not broken
• Basic knowledge of how to safely strap and pack items
• Understanding of how to load a truck properly and level out the load
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative approach to working with coworkers from diverse backgrounds
• Current California Food Handler Card required
• ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record required
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to or more than 100 pounds
• Flexibility to start shifts earlier or end shifts later with little to no notice as business needs require

Compensation | Hourly

$18 - $20 per hour
