Job description

Our client, a leader in industrial tools and fastening solutions, is seeking a Packer to join their team. As a Packer, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Packer

Pay Range:

$15.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What’s the Job?

1. Pack, move, and inspect products before they are shipped to distribution.
2. Move materials into production areas using hand trucks under the direction of the area supervisor.
3. Stack and seal cartons and boxes accurately to ensure quality standards.
4. Inspect finished products for visual defects and ensure all cartons are filled correctly before sealing.
5. Maintain accurate records of production counts and materials moved.

What’s Needed?

1. Must be organized and able to keep accurate records of production count and materials moved.
2. Must work well in a team environment and have the ability to work with little supervision.
3. Must have proficient math skills and be able to read, write, add, and subtract.
4. Must be able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds consistently.
5. Must be comfortable working in an environment with potential exposure to noise, dirt, and fumes.
