Job summary

American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking an entry-level technician to safely operate basic equipment and packaging lines in our facility, performing sanitation, dust abatement and routine food safety documentation. The role requires reading and writing English to interpret SDS materials and technical literature.

Rotating 12-hour shifts and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a clear progression path from entry-level training to more advanced responsibilities within the packaging area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pass Safety Screen to perform duties safely.
• Must read/write English to understand SDS and literature.
• Familiarity with GMPs, safety rules and PPE in a packaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate basic equipment and packaging lines, provide equipment support.
• Perform sanitation and dust abatement duties.
• Complete food safety inspections and documentation.
• Understand equipment operating principles.
