Job summary

Wagstaff, Inc. is seeking a packaging associate responsible for preparing, inspecting, and packaging finished goods for shipment. You will clean, de-bur, assemble containers, label products, and maintain documentation while safely operating forklifts, cranes, and hand tools.

Commitment to quality, safety, teamwork, and procedures is essential, with potential overtime. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following Wagstaff Quality System guidelines and contributing to on-time

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure and follow work instructions precisely.
• Proficient with basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail for final inspections and defect identification.
• Able to follow established safety, quality, and process procedures.
• Solid basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of lifting/moving materials and standing long periods.
• Good organizational skills for documentation and clean work area.
• Effective teamwork and clear communication.”

Responsibilities

• Clean, debur, and package material for shipping.
• Perform final inspection and reject damaged product or materials.
• Assemble containers, skids, and packaging materials per BOM.
• Cut materials according to BOM and create BOM as needed.
• Use databases to generate cut lists and container sizes.
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation and labels.
• Follow Wagstaff Quality System procedures.
• Operate forklifts/cranes/pallet jacks safely as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and high quality standards.
• Overtime may be required; cross-train as needed.
