Job summary

Millenniumsoft in San Diego, CA is seeking a Packaging Technician I to perform routine bottling, labeling, packaging, and material handling in line with SOPs and quality standards. The role supports documentation accuracy and GMP compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will ensure product traceability, operate labeling and packaging equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or related operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine bottling, labeling, packaging, and material handling activities in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Operate packaging equipment including pipettes, scales, labeling systems, printers, and other production tools.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify product identity, labeling accuracy, package integrity, and documentation completeness.
• Complete batch records, production documentation, and system transactions in GMP-compliant manner.
• Support label creation, printing, and packaging documentation processes.
• Maintain packaging supplies and materials, including receiving, storing, staging, inventory control, and disposition.
• Conduct line clearances, equipment setup, product changes, cleaning, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate production data within SAP and other manufacturing systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready work environment using 5S principles.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality, safety, equipment, and process issues to supervisor.
• Participate in investigations, corrective actions, continuous improvement initiatives, and audit support.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO, FDA, EH&S, and company quality system requirements.
