Job summary

Mennel Milling Company is seeking a packaging operator to sustain its tradition of excellence and to support our food safety programs. You will operate packaging equipment from processing to palletization, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The 1st shift runs 5 am–5 pm Monday to Thursday with overtime as needed. You will follow GMPs, HACCP, FSMA requirements, keep records, and maintain a clean, audit-ready plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and work with all employees.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, procedures, and plans.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must use solid judgment when making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate all packaging equipment to designated production levels.
• Properly set up all packaging equipment.
• Meet and or exceed packaging standards as set by the company.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with Team Leader and maintenance technicians all repairs needed.
• Maintain and correctly document food safety paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and keep the plant audit-ready.
