Job summary

LANXESS in El Dorado, AR is seeking a safety‑minded operator to perform loading, packaging, and daily production tasks. You will follow health, safety, environmental, quality, and production policies while supporting various shifts and teams.

The role requires ability to lift 60 lbs, basic computer skills, and forklift experience or willingness to learn. A high school diploma is required; teamwork and alertness are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously.
• Must work in a state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and use of proper tools for maintenance in the plant.
• Experience operating a forklift or ability to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient operations by completing, supporting, and participating in all assigned tasks.
• Load finished products into various bulk containers and verify labeling and packaging documentation.
• Prepare and complete packaging reports; conduct daily inspections.
• Meet daily production quotas as set by Unit Supervision.
• Monitor processes in the field or control room; report unusual or unsafe conditions.
• Identify routine maintenance needs and perform minor maintenance to piping and equipment.
• Participate in safety, environmental, reliability, cost, and production improvement activities and projects.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.

• Loading of finished products in various bulk containers
