Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Packaging Line Tech to join our Production / Packaging team. You will work in a fast-paced beer packaging environment, handling cans, bottles, kegs, and related duties as part of the packaging ladder.

We value safety, reliability, and willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. The starting pay is $19 per hour, with benefits such as PTO, 401K, and health coverage.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a packaging environment preferred.
  • Ability to carry/lift 50–165 lbs and work in loud/hot environments.
  • Stand and work on feet for 8+ hours daily.
  • Flexible to day, afternoon, midnight shifts, including weekends/holidays.
  • Mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety standards and complete trainings.
  • Follow quality standards and report concerns.
  • Understand all packaging types of our beer.
  • Operate packaging equipment and manage ~20 machine changeovers/year.
  • Complete audits, set up machines, record batch data.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and escalate issues.
  • Clean facilities and complete associated paperwork.
  • Record end-of-run counts and pallet notes.
  • Understand chemicals and PPE requirements.
  • Read SOPs and raise safety/quality concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Overview

Our Packaging Team performs all responsibilities in canning, bottling, kegging, and re‑packing of our beer. They ensure that beer is packaged in bottles, cans, and kegs ready for distribution and sale. This is the first level in the Packaging Ladder, in a fast‑paced production environment that requires exceptional motivation, a true passion for craft beer, and scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safety standards set by Breckenridge Brewery, complete 100% of required safety trainings, and report safety concerns.
  • Follow quality standards communicated during new hire training and subsequent trainings, and report quality concerns.
  • Understand all packaging types of our beer.
  • Operate packaging equipment according to the Machine Operations Matrix and assist in approximately 20 machine changeovers per year.
  • Complete audits: understand and execute all audits for each machine, set up the machine, ensure correct product usage, and record ends‑of‑run counts. Conduct audits during the run every 30 minutes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and promptly notify Tech II, Tech III, Shift Lead, supervisor, or manager of issues, concerns, or machine challenges.
  • Clean the general facilities and operation area, ensure proper cleaning, and complete associated paperwork. Perform daily and weekly cleaning as required.
  • Complete end‑of‑run counts of materials used, fill out batch tracking information, and note materials left on partial pallets.
  • Understand chemicals used throughout the production facility and the PPE required around them.
  • Read and understand SOPs.
  • Alert the Shift Leader or other management to potential quality or safety concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a packaging environment preferred.
  • Ability to carry/lift 50–165 lbs and work safely in a loud and/or hot work environment.
  • Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, stoop, and reach.
  • Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more.
  • Must be able to work in hot, wet, and loud environments.
  • Must be able to work around steam, electricity, harsh chemicals, and solvents.
  • Must be flexible to work day, afternoon, and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Mechanical background preferred.
Education
  • High School Diploma required.
Supplemental Information

This position requires successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and driving record check. Ability to work nights and weekends is essential due to business needs.

Pay

Starting at $19.00 per hour.
