Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking a Packaging Tech Level I to support packaging activities on the front lines, focusing on hands-on tasks with minimal machine interaction. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean and compliant work environment and offers clear pathways for growth and training.

You will perform labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging, while following standard operating procedures for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain state medical marijuana badge and pass background check.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cannabis packaging tasks such as labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, including the Packaging department rooms and immediate workspace, following daily cleaning protocols.
• Perform regular cleaning on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment.
• Follow standard procedures for safety and compliance.
• Report any compliance or safety errors to department leadership.
• Contribute to the overall safety and maintenance of the workspace.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
• The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
