Job summary

MSD in De Soto, Kansas is hiring an Associate Packaging Technician to support biologics manufacturing and packaging operations in our Animal Health facility near Kansas City. You will work on bottle label application, bottle packaging, palletization, and ensure accurate documentation using Good Documentation Practices.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or with a team, and basic computer skills; overtime may be necessary to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; able to follow SOPs and regulatory policies.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel; able to manage basic documentation.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet production demands.
• Demonstrates teamwork and initiative to support colleagues.
• Attention to detail and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Operate sealed bottle label application and bottle packaging.
• Support palletization and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Complete process documentation and compliance records.
• Assist in cycle counting and ensure schedule adherence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
