Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Product Implementation Engineer to maintain and improve an installed portfolio of packaging equipment. You will drive ECO/ECR processes, update CAD models and BOMs, and lead redesigns to improve reliability and cost.

Collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service and Quality is essential. You will work on obsolescence projects, documentation management, and product improvements while supporting senior engineers on modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience or hands-on engineering project experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM or other documentation management systems.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering change orders (ECOs) and engineering change requests (ECRs).
• Update CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and release documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Support component obsolescence projects, including alternate components.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Design and implement improvements to existing packaging equipment and subsystems.
• Lead small-to-medium redesign projects related to obsolescence and reliability.
