Job summary

Wyld is seeking a Packaging Support team member in Arizona, Tucson, to efficiently package inventory while upholding quality and safety standards. You will count, label, assemble, bag and box items, perform basic visual inspections, and report issues to supervisors.

Collaboration in a fast-paced setting is essential. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized workspace, ensuring QA/QC throughout shifts, and communicating effectively with team members at all levels.

Qualifications

• 6 months of related experience in packaging or production.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Must be 21 years of age or older per state regulations.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Package product inventory efficiently.

Summary

The Packaging Support team member is responsible for efficiently packaging product inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role counts, labels, assembles, bags, and boxes a variety of items into final product packaging, performs basic visual inspections, and reports any product or equipment issues or quantity/quality discrepancies to supervisors. The Packaging Support team member also helps keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, and works collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Packaging product inventory in an efficient and effective manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
• Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced
• Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
• Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors
• Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
• Perform other related duties and tasks when requested by supervisors

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
• Willing to submit to a background check
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older

Benefits

• As a non-exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage of $20.00-24.30/hr. paid biweekly, 11 paid holidays, 80 hours of PTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
