Job summary

Wyld, a leader in cannabis-infused edibles and beverages, seeks a Packaging Support team member in Missouri (St. Louis) to efficiently package product inventory while upholding quality and safety standards. You will count, label, assemble, bag, and box various items, perform basic QA checks, and report issues to supervisors.

The role requires a fast-paced, accurate approach and strong teamwork. Primary shifts are 4x10s with 40 hours weekly, with a competitive hourly wage and full benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in a production or packaging environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high urgency
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to understand written instructions and follow them precisely
  • 21 years of age or older per state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Open availability for 40 hours per week, primarily Mon-Thu 4x10 hour shifts
  • Package product inventory efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  • Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
  • Maintain QA/QC standards during shifts
  • Collaborate effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Communicate discrepancies or issues to supervisors
  • Report damaged or spoiled products or equipment to supervisors
  • Handle other duties as assigned by supervision

Summary

The Packaging Support team member is responsible for efficiently packaging product inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role counts, labels, assembles, bags, and boxes a variety of items into final product packaging, performs basic visual inspections, and reports any product or equipment issues or quantity/quality discrepancies to supervisors. The Packaging Support team member also helps keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, and works collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Open availability for 40 hours a week of work, specially M-Th - 4 10/hr shifts
  • Packaging product inventory in an efficient and effective manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees
  • Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
  • Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced
  • Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
  • Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors
  • Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
  • Perform other related duties and tasks when requested by supervisors
Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
  • Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Benefits

As a non-exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage of $20.00-24.30/hr. paid biweekly, 11 paid holidays, 80 hours of PTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
