Job summary

Aerotek in Clinton, CT is seeking a Packer for a contract-to-hire role on a clean-room production floor. You will pack, inspect, label, palletize, and move goods, standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.

The position offers hourly pay of $17.50–$18.50 with weekly pay and benefits. Training provided; overtime and weekend availability may be required; fully onsite opportunity with career growth within a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English to follow written instructions, labels, and safety guidelines.
• General production experience or willingness to learn entry-level production tasks.
• Basic machine operating exposure or interest in learning machine operation.
• Quality control awareness with attention to detail when inspecting products.
• Packaging and stacking skills with the ability to follow specific packing requirements.
• Material handling capability, including lifting, moving, and organizing products.
• Mechanical aptitude, such as experience with hand and power tools or auto-mechanical tasks.
• Ability to stand for long shifts.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products according to established specifications and packaging guidelines.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and defects before packing.
• Label boxes clearly and accurately to prepare them for shipment.
• Stack, palletize, and securely wrap finished goods for safe transport and storage.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
• Perform general production tasks such as basic machine operating, packaging, stacking, and assembly as needed.
• Handle materials and finished goods safely and efficiently during the packing process.
