Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Fruitland, ID is hiring a Packaging Specialist. You will place totes under the hopper, operate the shaker, assemble boxes, stamp and tape totes, and stack finished products onto pallets.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a wet, hot/cold environment with GMP compliance and cleanliness. Pay is $14.85 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision/Life Insurance, 401K, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food industry regulations and GMP standards.
• Ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and working in varying environmental conditions.
• Able to work in a wet and hot/cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Place empty totes onto the shaker under the hopper.
• Operate the shaker to consolidate product and stop filling totes at the correct weight.
• Assemble boxes and fill them with blue liners.
• Create large totes, tape them together, and stamp boxes.
• Stack finished products onto pallets in the proper order.
• Assist with packaging and maintain cleanliness in the packaging area.
• Support sanitation events as needed and adhere to GMP standards.
• Report any issues that could lead to product contamination.
