Job summary

Cerebral Brewing in Aurora, CO is seeking a Packaging Specialist to oversee the packaging of brite and keg beer across cans, bottles, and kegs, with routine maintenance of packaging lines. The role includes cellaring tasks such as transfers, CIP/SIP, and dry-hopping.

You will work nights and weekends as needed, collaborate with warehouse staff, and help ensure safety, quality, and compliance while contributing to new product launches and SOP updates.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2 years of packaging experience, preferably on a Wild Goose canning line.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the fly.
• Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Able to manage multiple processes and communicate with team members.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Packaging of brite and still beer in kegs, bottles, and cans while minimizing loss and DO pickup.
• Operate and maintain packaging equipment (GEA Centrifuge, Wild Goose canning line, Ska Depal, HDP bottling).
• Perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment and document results.
• Clean FVs, BTs, kegs, and packaging equipment following SOPs.
• Coordinate with Warehouse & Logistics to track packaging material inventory.
• Maintain quality records and compliance documentation.
