Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer in Saint Paul, MN to configure and quote Delkor packaging solutions.

You will lead quoting projects, including system costing reports, layout drawings, and proposals, and present these to internal management and customers. The role requires a strong background in engineering, capital equipment or industrial automation, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, scheduling, operations, procurement, and accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Capital Equipment / Industrial Automation.
• Experience in make-to-order or engineer-to-order environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project data using Navision and labor data for lead-time and margins.
• Create system layout drawings showing dimensions and utility needs.
• Prepare detailed project proposals with scope, pricing and terms.
• Present quoted projects to the Quote Review Committee daily.
• Maintain expert knowledge of all Delkor product lines.
