Job summary

Lindenmeyr Munroe is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the packaging industry in the Buffalo area. You will prospect manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, and facilities that use packaging, shipping, and supply chain products.

The ideal candidate thrives on opening doors, cold calling, networking, and building relationships at all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in outside sales preferred.
• Experience selling packaging or related supplies is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct daily prospecting via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Build relationships with plant managers, operations managers, and procurement teams.
• Identify opportunities to replace incumbent suppliers and grow market share.
• Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to win new customers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and conduct regular business reviews.
• Document activities in CRM and coordinate with support teams.
