Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging is seeking a Packaging Inspection Technician / Quality Inspector for the 1st shift to inspect, document, and package finished products to meet quality standards and customer specifications.

You'll review orders, measurements, labeling, and perform basic math, identify non-conforming items, and work with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions, SOPs, work instructions, and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and ability to read a measuring rule.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to safely work with manufacturing materials and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, verify, document, and package finished products according to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Review production orders, drawings, manufacturing specifications, and SOPs.
• Physically inspect products and dimensional characteristics.
• Identify, document, and handle non-conforming products.
• Communicate defects or quality concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Obtain required Quality Assurance approval and segregate rejected materials.
• Record and summarize inspection results according to department procedures.
• Wrap and package finished products according to customer requirements.
• Enter information into computer system and print product labels where needed.
• Assist with packaging materials preparation and labeling accuracy.
